Milly Alcock is winning hearts all over again. After impressing a huge audience in House of the Dragon, the actress is back with a bang as the Girl of Tomorrow in the latest trailer of Supergirl. For the film, she is joined by the dashing actor Jason Momoa, who will portray Lobo. However, that was not the only good thing about the recently released footage, which contained many easter eggs.

Below, we have mentioned several easter eggs that you may have missed in the recently released footage of Milly Alcock’s Supergirl. Along with that, we have also detailed a few characters that were hidden in plain sight. If you are ready for the exciting ride, hop on the space bus.

In the movie Superman, starring David Corenswet and directed by James Gunn, we saw Kara Zor-El, aka Supergirl, drunk. Meanwhile, we also learned that she travels to regions that weaken her powers so she can enjoy life as a normal being. This explains why we saw a space bus in the trailer.

While we are aware that Supergirl can fly, this space bus might be her ride to another planet where her abilities don’t make her a Supergirl but just keep her Kara.

While David Corenswet’s Superman is widely visible in the trailer, we are introduced to Ruthye Marye Knoll. Kara Zor-El makes an ally in the trailer. In case you don’t know, the character in question plays a major role in the Superman: Woman of Tomorrow comic book series.

Ruthye Arye Knoll is someone who travels through the galaxy. She is filled with revenge following her father’s death.

Kara Is Weak

In one segment of the trailer, we see Kara Zor-El struggling to live. In fact, she was weak enough to even stare properly. Just like other adaptations of Superman and Supergirl, we see Milly Alcock’s Supergirl facing a tormented time. However, what’s interesting is that she isn’t being weakened by Kryptonite but by something else, something more organic.

We see her face turning black, with her veins slightly exposed. It is possible that she will be injected with some alien substance, stripping her of her powers.

Krypton Is On The Verge of Collapse

Krypton’s destruction is an inevitable fact in the DC Universe. Although James Gunn avoided using this major reference in his 2025 film, the missing arc of the Kryptonians wil be portrayed in Supergirl.

We see heavy destruction in the trailer, and the planet is slowly collapsing. This may suggest the sequence will be depicted either at the start of the film or in flashbacks. However, the scene in question may also depict Kal-El’s birth, aka Superman.

Supergirl’s Parents

While the trailer depicts fire and destruction on Krypton, a world that once lived is also shown. A pre-destruction Krypton is shown to be a serene place. These sequences also feature Kara Zor-El’s parents, played by David Krumholtz and Emily Beecham.

These were some easter eggs from the recently released Supergirl trailer. Supergirl, starring Milly Alcock, will release in theaters on June 26, 2026.
